Uttaran fame Tina Dutta went through an awkward situation while travelling to Rajkot from Mumbai. The television actress was sexually harassed by a co-passenger on the flight she was on board but no appropriate was taken by the airline crew members, neither other fellow passengers supported her. However, Tina recollected herself and turned to her official Facebook page to narrate the entire incident and highlighted carelessness on the part of the airline for the safety and convenience of its passengers. She asked her followers to spread the matter for the sake of the safety and security of all girls.
In a detailed post, Tina wrote that she boarded the flight on Friday with her manager. While they were talking, Tina suddenly felt that someone was trying to sneak his/her hands through the sides followed touching her inappropriately. Shocked to see a middle-aged man fiddling, she yelled at him and called crew members to intervene and deport the man from the flight. But instead of doing so, they changed his seat saying that such things happen, Tina mentioned in her post.
Unsatisfied by the action of crew members, Tina demanded to talk to captain of the flight. after much persuassion, she was allowed to talk to the captain. But he also disappointed her as he reacted disgustly and replied that their responsibility starts post take off of a flight, she stated. She blamed the airlines for the harrasement and asked “Is there no safety measures for your passengers?”

In the entire matter, another thing that hurt Tina was lack of support by other co-passengers. She mentioned that no one except a family supported her in the flight when she was “so violated”. In the post she wrote “I felt so Violated and yet no one was there to support except one family in the entire aircraft.” She further asked, “As Indians, there was no one to raise their voice, everyone sitting on their seats and enjoying the show! This is ridiculous, I wonder if this happened with their family, would they still be this calm?”
