I am very sensitive by nature-Diljit Dosanjh
Diljit Dosanjh : Punjabi Singer-Actor Diljit Dosanjh, who keep interacting with his fans through social media. Diljit says he is a very sensitive person by nature and he likes to meet new people instead of sitting at a place and reading books.
From Diljit’s Snapchat it is clearly evident that he likes to meet new people and loves to have fun as he always posts videos with new people he meets, his fans, and his friends. Currently, Diljit is very exciting about his upcoming movie “Super Singh” which is scheduled to be released on June 16.
Super Singh is a Punjabi superhero film also featuring Sonam Bajwa and directed by Anurag Singh. In an interview, he said that “Apart from my live shows, shopping and gymming, I like reading people rather that books. Everyone has a story that comes out from the way they are, their body language, opinion, mindset & everything. I like people, I think observing people is more interesting than reading a book. So, yes that is how I spend my day.”
Diljit has been recently seen in the Bollywood movies as well such as Udta Punjab and Phillauri and his character in the Udta Punjab also featuring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit’s character in the movie Udta Punjab was appreciated a lot by the audiences and critics as well. Talking about the character he played in the movie Phillauri was also one of his best performances and liked by all. Diljit’s take on the Sikh community “It is a free country where people can have an opinion on anything. I cannot take them to my heart. If someone is trolling and making fun of us (Sikhs/Punjabis), I cannot do anything. I am an entertainer. My job is to entertain people. I stick to that.”
When Diljit was asked about the difference in both the film industries i.e. Bollywood and Punjabi film industry, apart from the budget he said “No, When it comes to passion, all artists in all the industries are the same. But budget makes things different. For example, Super Singh needed a bigger budget than any usual romantic comedy film. We have got the support from Balaji Production House. So, we are thankful to our producer Ekta Kapoor who supported our film and she never stopped us from shooting the film the way our director wanted it to be.”
