Asha Bhosle Wax Statue To Be Installed At Madame Tussauds

It was announced on Tuesday that the melodious singer Asha Bhosle wax statue will be installed at India’s first Madame Tussauds in Delhi. The 83-year-old singer’s statue will be among famous celebrities in the Bollywood music zone theme related to the environment, this zone allows fans to sing with their favorite celebrity. Experts from Madame Tussauds team met the legendary singer Asha Ji previous year for the sitting session where they have taken more than 150 specifics measurements and pictures of her in Mumbai. Asha Bhosle was “thrilled and humbled.”

The singer expressed her gratitude in one of the statements, “Thank you to Madame Tussauds and my fans for considering me for this incredible honor. Having a wax figure is a completely ecstatic feeling and it’s a new experience for me. This is the first time I have undergone a sitting and I must thank them for making it a unique and exciting experience. I am excited to see and meet my final figure when the attraction opens. Madame Tussauds is a ‘one-of-a-kind’ attraction and is a rage across the world and I am looking forward to the launch and opening in Delhi .”
The veteran singer has entertained the Bollywood music industry for more than sixty years, she has recorded more than thousand Bollywood films that too in above 20 Indian and foreign languages. Asha has been honored with Guinness Book of World Records for most recorded singer in the music industry. In conjunction to this, she was also awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in the year 2000 and also the Padma Vibhushan in the year 2008.
