The first opening ceremony of Indian Premier League 2017 was held at Hyderabad and attracted quite some attention. Amy Jackson was the celebrity performer at the event and her not so entertaining performance. However, the star of the night had to be our mystery girl who enchanted the screen with her presence. The mystery girl has finally been revealed as Poonam Kaur Lal. Poonam Kaur, a Hyderabadi model and actress, has appeared in various Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies. The hot actress had taken the debuted in movies in 2006 and is also the brand ambassador of Miss Telangana Event.
Poonam Kaur Lal holds a degree in fashion designing and has also worked in various movies in the south and was also a part of the 2016 Hindi movie, Joononiyat. The model turned actress has done small roles in movies with superstars legendary actors Kamal Haasan and Mohan Lal in the Unnaipol Oruvan, remake of the Hindi movie, A Wednesday. Poonam Kaur has also been nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Award back in 2008 for her performance in Gopichand alongside Anushka Shetty.
The opening ceremony of IPL 2017 was entertaining for most parts of it as the IPL committee felicitated legendary cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Virender Sehwag and VVS Laxman. However, the biggest downside of the entire opening ceremony was clearly Amy Jackson’s performance which made Sunny Deol look like a professional dancer. Her performance was so mediocre that people started looking for options of better people who could have ended the opening ceremony on a high note.
