Justice League New clips shed light on the superheroes and its big villain Steppenwolf
The clips shed light primarily on characters, including the heroes of the Justice League (Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg), their enemy and invader Steppenwolf and supporting characters like Jim Gordon and Alfred Pennyworth. Let's have a look at each clip.
Now that Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok is out of the way, all the nerds have turned their eager eyes to DC’s upcoming superhero ensemble movie Justice League. And Warner Bros, the giant studio behind the film, does not seem reluctant to provide footage taken out of the upcoming film. Indeed, it seems like they are going overboard in pandering to their fans. A number of clips have surfaced and if one did not know better, one would think they would release the whole film in parts before it gets released. There is a thing called too much details, after all.But we are not complaining. The clips shed light primarily on characters, including the heroes of the Justice League Alliance (Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg), their enemy and invader Steppenwolf and supporting characters like Jim Gordon and Alfred Pennyworth. Let’s have a look at each clip.
This clip is about the threat of Steppenwolf, the villain of the film. He is the general and uncle of Darkseid, a tyrannous ruler of the planet of Apokolips, DC’s equivalent of Thanos (who was modeled after Darkseid). Steppenwolf has brought an army of parademons to invade Earth and has most likely been sent by the ruler of Apokolips himself. The character is played by Ciarán Hinds. In this clip, you can see the strength of this being who dismisses a missile as “primitive”.
The Flash in Justice League is not a seasoned superhero. He is a kid with a superpower who, as he says, pushes people and runs. Enters Batman, with all the charm on his disposal, trying to convince him to be a superhero for real. Ezra Miller seems absolutely perfect for the role, using his knack of humour to bring a bit of comic relief in this grim film.
Jim Gordon (JK Simmons) apparently has a substantive role in the Justice League, at least judging by the trailers and clips. And here is, sizing up the superheroes of the Justice League.
Justice League opens on November 17.
