Harvey Weinstein visited the sets of the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer film, Main Hoon Na. The image was shared by the director, Farah Khan, which she captioned as, "Me giving Bollywood gyaan to Harvey Weinstein". The Hollywood producer has numerous assault sexual allegations against him.

The sexual assault allegations against Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein shook the entire world when more than 75 actors, including actors like Angelina, Gwyneth Paltrow, Rose McGowan and Lupita Nyong’o, came out with their personal accounts of the incidents when they were harassed or raped by the man.
While Harvey had no prominent connection in Bollywood, reports suggest that he visited Mumbai to explore opportunities in 2003. A filmmaker told IANS, “He was secretly in Mumbai in 2003 for a round of meetings with prominent Bollywood filmmakers for possible tie-ups. I met him at the JW Marriott over lunch. His lunch. He slurped and slobbered over a plate of pasta, not offering me or my female colleague even a cup of coffee, while holding forth on how huge he was in the global entertainment business. Truly obnoxious. I left the meeting vowing never to work with him even if I had to sell pao-bhaji on the pavement.” The filmmaker’s name has not been mentioned in this report.
Farah Khan, the director of films like Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om, on Wednesday shared a picture of Harvey from the sets of Main Hoon Na with the caption, “Found this!! Throwback of all throwbacks! Me giving Bollywood gyaan to Harvey Weinstein!! #beforetheshithitthefan #mainhoonna shoot.”
Main Hoon Na was Farah’s first directorial venture that starred Shah Rukh Khan and Sushmita Sen in lead roles. Harvey was present on the sets of Main Hoon Na and while she hasn’t shared much about her experience with the Hollywood producer, it is clear that he was in India to explore opportunities with Bollywood.
