Deepika Padukone looks war ready in Padmavati’s new poster

Deepika Padukone looks fierce and ready for some action in the new poster released by the makers. While in the first glimpse Deepika was nothing less than an epitome of grace and gave the perfect queen vibes, in this poster, she looks war ready.

As troubles for Deepika Padukone starrer Padmavati mount, the makers have got a reason to celebrate. The film, which is facing one roadblock after another, will entice the UAE audience a day before its release in India. Sharing a new poster of Deepika as Rani Padmini, trade analyst Sumit Kadel revealed, “GODDESS Raani #Padmavati arriving at theaters near you on 30th November in UAE & 1 December in India. Terrific new poster. @deepikapadukone expressing Honor & Dignity through her eyes.. 👍👍👍”
Protests against Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming movie Padmavati have intensified in Rajasthan with several organisations stating their objection to the movie over Rani Padmini’s portrayal, while distributors have also decided to wash their hands off it. “We don’t want to get involved in this controversy; our company has decided to not get involved in this film until this controversy is sorted out,” said Raj Bansal, a leading film distributor from Rajasthan. “None of my colleagues – there are 3 – 4 (top) distributors in Rajasthan – and none of them is ready for it. There may still be time to settle the controversy but it keeps on increasing now, to Gujarat, Maharashtra…” he said.Talking about the hurdles Padmavati is facing, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali had earlier said, “I don’t think of the struggle, the suffering and the strife as negative forces. They are my incentives to make the films that I want to make. If I had to make a stress-free film, I’d be really worried.”
